The beginning of the experience
We meet early in the morning at sunrise in Roussillon, Provence, on the Place du Pasquier car park opposite the pharmacy. We then invite you to board our 4x4 for the transfer to the most suitable launch site for the day.
Once on the field, the pilot inflates a small test balloon to confirm the weather forecast and assess the winds at altitude.
The pilot and crew prepare the balloon and invite you to take part in the whole setup phase. We offer you a pastry while the pilot gives a briefing and explains the flight. Time for your hot-air balloon experience to begin!
Your flight: around 1 hour of pure pleasure!
Once you are comfortably settled in the basket and have listened to the briefing and take-off instructions, it is time to leave. All you have to do is let yourself drift gently above the diversity of landscapes below.
You will be surprised by the calm and the incomparable serenity that ballooning provides. It is a peaceful moment above the landscapes of the Luberon and Provence.
Depending on the area and the weather conditions, the balloon flight takes place at different altitudes. You will then appreciate the precision with which a balloon can be flown, even though it cannot truly be steered!
Take-off altitude: around 200 to 300 m.
Average flight altitude: 1,000 m.
A gentle landing
After about one hour of flight, the pilot looks for a suitable landing field. The ground crew, in radio contact, joins us there.
Once all the equipment has been packed away, you are invited to enjoy a snack with regional products and the famous aeronauts' toast. Each passenger receives a flight certificate.
When the balloon ride is over, you will extend this emotional moment by sharing your first impressions and memories together.
Our team remains available to answer all your questions about the flight and the region, both before and after your balloon ride.
Good to know
For the smooth running of your balloon flight, it is very important to be on time. We fly very early in the morning to enjoy calm air. As soon as the sun heats the ground and the wind rises, flying is no longer possible. Your best contribution to a successful flight is therefore simply to arrive on time!
